STD Prevention

Information

The STD Prevention Program works to prevent and control sexually transmitted infections (STIs) throughout Idaho. The program partners with numerous entities to help implement various strategies and activities aimed at eliminating congenital syphilis, reducing primary and secondary syphilis cases, the prevention of drug-resistant gonorrhea and STI-related pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy, and infertility.
